Love this Cat! We did this same thing as a book giveaway a year ago for our niece instead of a card. Such a wonderful treasure for them!

I love the idea of giving books instead of a card. My cousin is a teacher and she did this for her baby shower. She received a wonderful collection of books. Of course, she had a "special" request from me, however I made sure to take along some of my other favorites as well. ;)

K., your cousin is a wise mom and teacher. I agree... the act of "giving" books is fulfilling and almost as delightful as "receiving" them.

Love that more and more people are asking for books in place of a card. The gals who threw my showers did this for me, and it means so much every time I open a book to read to my little to see that hand written note to him.
