Yippy! Fuzzy and I are doing the happy dance. "Finding Fuzzy: a You-Decide Tale of a Lost Friend," scored a *Five-Star* review from Readers' Favorite 😊!
Can't wait to find out how YOU will write your ending to this illustrated chapter book for grades K-3 about a lost blue bunny BFF. But be warned: the book has been known to cause beach fever --- You just might experience an uncontrollable urge to slip Fuzzy into your beach bag and head down to the Carolina shore. Find your copy of Fuzzy on Amazon. Happy tales! April 23 marks the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare's birth. Kid-friendly versions of the Bard's works are readily available, thanks to Charles and Mary Lamb and their prose adaptation for children, "Tales from Shakespeare." (My love of reading and writing was nurtured by Lambs' book when I first discovered it in fourth grade.) Their book is great prep for high school and college English lit papers, too. Best of all, Lambs' book is free in the public domain (in the USA). Plus, today's technology makes it available in different formats. Find free downloads of Lambs' "Tales from Shakespeare" here:
Wishing you a sunny spring weekend. Blessed Easter and Passover, too.
Imagine spending a week with this lively crew at a family beach reunion on the Carolina shore. These cuties and their antics inspired me to write Finding Fuzzy: a You-Decide Tale of a Lost Friend. Check out the little one on the far left --- his 'Fuzzy' never left his side! Have a never-leave-me Fuzzy friend in your family, too?

Love, love, love young Bertie and his trials and tribulations --- especially with his pals, Tofu and Olive. The new parents coping with triplets are a hoot. A quick read that delivers. View all my reviews Gotta love Buzzfeed. According to its quizz, I'm most like Max from Where the Wild Things Are. The description is kinda-sorta-quite like me.
You’re a dreamer. Your escape is in your creative imagination, where you run wild with all your fantastic friends. Keep dreaming, just like Max, and the payoff will come before you know it! What children's book character are you most like? |
